Donegal Gardaí issue burglary prevention advice

Gardaí in Donegal have issued a number of burglary prevention advice to help keep your home safe.

There are a few measures the public can take to prevent criminals from entering their homes.

Gardaí are recommending the public to consider the following advice:

• Secure all doors and windows.
• Light up your home, use timer switches when out.
• Store keys safely and away from windows and letterboxes.
• Record details of valuables and don’t keep large cash amounts at home.
• Use your alarm, even when at home.
