Donegal Gardaí remember late colleague Michael Joseph Lawless

Today marks the 32^nd anniversary of a Donegal-based Garda who lost his life in a road traffic collision in county Sligo.

Garda Michael Joseph Lawless, who was stationed in Bundoran passed away following the crash near Cliffoney on January 20th 1993.

Travelling from his home in Ballyshannon, Garda Lawless was on his way to Dublin to a Garda Representative Association (GRA) meeting.

Donegal Gardaí have marked the anniversary by posting a message of remembrance to their social media site wherein they say they honour his memory every day.
