Gardai in Donegal have issued a warning after a number of vehicles were found to have defects over Rally Weekend.
The Roads Safety Authority examined a number of vehicles over the course of the weekend and issues included missing bolts from suspension, worn tyres and a pick up truck that was out of test for a number of years.
Gardai are advising motorists to ensure their vehicle is in a roadworthy condition before setting off on a journey and conduct all relevant checks.
