Donegal GP expresses concern over hospital system this winter

A Donegal GP has expressed concern over how Covid and flu season will impact the hospital system this winter.

The HSE has this week indicated that Ireland is over the peak of the current wave of Covid-19 with the number of patients in hospital dropping significantly over the last month.

It comes as people aged between 60 and 64 are being invited to book an appointment for their next Covid-19 booster vaccine.

The latest round of boosters will be administered from next Monday.
