Donegal continues to have by far the highest 14-day number of Covid cases in the north west.
Figures released yesterday showed the county had 336 cases in the past fortnight. There were 48 in Cavan, 36 in Sligo and four in Leitrim.
Donegal had a slight drop in its daily rate, going from 17 to 16 yesterday, with 6 in Cavan, fewer than five in Sligo and none in Leitrim.
A public health expert says Ireland should re-consider implementing compulsory quarantine for people flying into the country.
