Donegal has the second lowest Covid-19 vaccine uptake nationally

Co. Donegal has the lowest Covid-19 vaccine uptake in the country with an estimated 87.4% of the adult population fully vaccinated.

Figures from the Health Protection Surveillance Centre show Sligo and Leitrim are among the highest nationally with 98.5% and 97.7% respectively.

94.6% of the nations population over the age of 18 are fully vaccinated.

While Co. Monaghan has the lowest vaccination rate in the country on 86.9% and virtually everyone 18 or over in Co. Carlow is fully dosed on a figure of 99.5%.

Almost the entire 70 plus population are fully vaccinated.
