A number of issues from the threat of forestry to rising input costs are expected to dominate the Donegal IFA Annual General Meeting which will take place the Clanree Hotel in Letterkenny later tonight at 8pm.
The AGM will signal the end of Brendan McLaughlin's term as County Chairperson.
A new County Chairperson will be elected on the night, as well as Vice Chairperson and Assistant Secretary.
In addition, elections will take place for two Commodity Committee positions also, totalling 5 elections on the night.
IFA President Tim Cullinan will be present on the night for the AGM to give an update on IFA affairs and developments on various current issues.
Outgoing Donegal Chairperson Brendan McLaughlin says despite a number of challenges being faced by the organisation; the Donegal branch of the IFA is in a healthy state.
