Donegal man who died in Australia named locally

A Donegal man who was tragically killed in Australia earlier this week has been named locally as Barry Breslin.

 

 

Mr Breslin, a native of Straleel, Kilcar sustained serious head injuries when a piece of equipment reportedly fell and was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital, where he died a short time later.

The late Mr Breslin, who was in his thirties is survived by his fiancée Melissa, son Tommy, parents Seamus and Mary and brothers Owen and Shane.

In a post on social media, Kilcar GAA say it “was a great shock to us all when the news reached us. Barry played underage for the club for many years and is fondly remembered by the players and all who were involved at the time.”
