Donegal - Mary T Sweeney (Aontú) defeated on 6th count

Mary T Sweeney of Aontú has been eliminated in the 6th count.

Sweeney received 2,382 first preferences and ended on a total of 3,600 following the transfers of the Green Party's Michael White

Speaking to OceanFM at the Donegal Constituency count in the Aura Centre, Letterkenny, she highlighted the fact that Aontú was the only party without a gender quota, yet managed more than most.
