Donegal motorist arrested for drug driving offences

A motorist has been arrested for drug driving in Donegal.

While conducting a patrol, the Buncrana Roads Policing Unit detected the smell of cannabis from a car.

The driver tested positive for the presence of cannabis.

Gardaí in Donegal have reminded people to never drive while under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs.
