Donegal TD accuses Government of 'lazy approach' to concrete levy

A Donegal TD has described the new concrete levy as a further punishment to those affected by the Mica Redress Scheme.

Last night, Sinn Féin called for the new concrete block levy introduced in the budget to be scrapped.

It was introduced to help fund the repair of defective homes in the North West and elsewhere.

Speaking in the Dail, Independent TD Thomas Pringle accused the Government of being lazy in its approach to the levy:
