Donegal TD adamant local plans for Foróige will result in diluted service

A Donegal TD is adamant that local plans for Irish youth organisation Foróige will result in a diluted service.

Before Christmas, Foróige issued a statement to reassure young people and their families that they will continue to provide services to young people in the broader south Donegal area and Dungloe.

The services are set to switch to an outreach basis, a move that Tusla says will broaden the reach of services to cover a broader range of areas in the county.

But Independent TD Thomas Pringle is of the belief that there are no plans to recruit any additional staff and he thinks this will effectively result in a reduced service:
