An Independent Donegal TD believes that a comprehensive reform is needed of the courts system.
It's after the mandate the Special Criminal Court was extended for at least another year following a Dail vote last night.
The Court was established during the Troubles and is now primarily used for gangland and terrorism-related offences.
Sinn Féin abstained in the vote for the second year in a row, with Solidarity-People Before Profit and two independents voting against it.
