Donegal TD calls for review of Farm Assist Scheme

A Donegal TD is calling for a review of the Farm Assist Scheme to ensure there are no delays in payments to farmers.

Farm Assist is a means-tested payment for low-income farmers.

Donegal TD and Fianna Fáil spokesperson on Agriculture Charlie McConalogue says his constituency office and other party Colleagues are regularly meeting farmers who have problems with the application forms.
