A Donegal TD is calling on the government to finally listen to the cries of those working in the provision of health care.
The Irish Medical Organisation says 72 per cent of doctors have not been able to take their scheduled breaks to eat or drink during the working day.
It will tell an Oireachtas committee today significant investment in bed capacity, as well as resourcing to ensure “appropriate and safe staffing levels”, is needed in Irish healthcare settings.
