Donegal TD claims Island Communities not benefiting from current leader funding

The next LEADER programme must be shaped to serve every community in the best way possible.

That's according to Sinn Fein and Donegal TD Pearse Doherty who has been highlighting the need for a single strategy for funding under the programme for offshore islands.

Speaking in the Dail, Deputy Doherty says many island in Donegal have been left out of important funding opportunities as a result of the current criteria:
