Donegal TD not happy with Paschal Donohoe's explanation over election expenses

A Sligo Leitrim TD is claiming that Paschal Donohoe's explanation of failing to declare election expenses is lying  in tatters.

Deputy Pearse Doherty made the comments as the Public Expenditure Minister committed to answering questions in the Dáil over his dealings with businessman Michael Stone.

The move follows a Dáil statement earlier this week, which was met with criticism from opposition parties.
