Donegal TD says party informed Theresa May there will be no backstop concessions

Donegal Sinn Fein TD Pearse Doherty, says the party told British Prime Minister Theresa May in a phone call last night the protections in the Brexit backstop are non-negotiable:

Theresa May visits Dublin later as part of a bid to get more Brexit concessions.

The British Prime Minister is meeting a series of EU leaders as she tries to breathe political life into the withdrawal agreement.

Deputy Doherty says there will be no concession on the agreement.
