Donegal TD wants more information to be supplied under freedom of information process

With a review currently taking place in the Freedom of Information process in Ireland, a Donegal TD is calling for more information being made public and not less.

Independent TD for Donegal, Thomas Pringle says the general public should be entitled to adequate information they request from Government Departments.

Deputy Pringle has received some 'woefully inadequate responses from a number of Departments.

The Independent TD says many Government Departments attitude when it comes to dealing with freedom of information ‘leaves a lot to be desired’.
