Donegal has come in as the 3rd worst in the country when it comes to road traffic accidents that resulted in fatalities last year.
In a recent report by the Road Safety Authority, Donegal and Tipperary with 10 fatalities were the third-worst affected counties, just behind Dublin and Cork.
Neighbouring counties, such as a Sligo, ranked bottom, with just one road fatality, with a slightly higher figure in Leitrim of two.
