A number of homes in Donegal are set to receive fibre broadband a year earlier than expected.
The installation of fibre optic broadband is due to be rolled out into over seven thousand homes across Ballyshannon, Buncrana, Ardara and Carndonagh.
National Broadband Ireland had originally planned for the installations to happen in 2026, but have now moved the planned completion date for this year.
County Donegal will receive one hundred and twenty eight million euro of Government investment under the National Broadband Plan with just under 34,000 homes, farms and businesses across the county included.
