Donegal Town development 'major boost' for local economy

A Donegal County Councillor says a new development planned for Donegal Town will be a major boost for the local economy.

News emerged in recent days that planning permission has been granted for the significant development that includes an 80-bedroom nursing home and 37 holiday chalets.

The plans which were submitted by Seamus Quinn are for a site at Revlin on the outskirts of the town.

Speaking to Ocean FM news, local Cllr Tom Conaghan says it's another vote of confidence in the area:
