Donegal workplace accident victim named locally

A man who died in a workplace accident in Donegal on Tuesday evening has been named locally.

Anthony Devlin, who was in his 30s suffered fatal injuries while doing mechanical work in the Buncrana area.

He is survived by his fiancée Grainne, sons Joe and Odhran and extended family members.

The Health and Safety Authority has confirmed they are investigating the accident.

Mr Devlin's funeral will take place at St Mary’s Church, Cockhill on Saturday at 11am with burial afterwords in the adjoining cemetery.
