240,000 cigarettes, 52kg of rolling tobacco and a vehicle were seized by Revenue in Donegal yesterday.
It's understood the operation was intelligence-led, and assistance was provided by Donegal Gardaí.
The cigarettes are thought to have a value of over €244,000, with an estimated loss to the Exchequer of around €191,000.
Two men have been questioned in relation to the seizure, and investigations are ongoing.
