'Dramatic downturn' in visitors from the North due to Brexit says former president of the Restaurants Association of Ireland

The Sligo-based past president of the Restaurants Association of Ireland says uncertainty over Brexit and the devaluation of Sterling has resulted in a 'dramatic downturn' in the number of visitors from the north.

Anthony Gray says that despite the booming economy and recent jobs announcements for Sligo, these are worrying times in the hospitality industry.

And amid fears that the EU-UK Brexit deal will not be passed in the House of Commons, Mr Gray thinks the ultimate solution is the holding of a second British referendum on Brexit:
