A driver was arrested for drug driving offences in Co. Donegal after travelling from Co. Down.
A car was stopped by Gardaí on the Lifford to Letterkenny road last night as part of ongoing Covid-19 checkpoints around the region.
The driver and the passenger had travelled from Co. Down and were making their way to Bundoran when they told Garda they took a wrong turn.
The driver was arrested for drug driving offences and was reminded about the restrictions in relation to essential travel.
