Driver in Ballyshannon caught having no tax for almost three years

A driver in the Ballyshannon area has been caught with having no tax for almost three years

Gardaí from Ballyshannon Garda Station detected the driver who was driving whilst on their mobile phone.

The vehicle was stopped and through the use of the active mobility device it was established that the vehicles tax expired 954 days ago.

A Fixed Charge Penalty Notice was issued and the vehicle was seized.

Gardai in Ballyshannon also detected another vehicle and again through the use of the active mobility device it was established that the vehicles tax expired just over two years ago.
