A further €180,000 worth of cannabis plants was discovered by Gardaí in Roscommon yesterday.
This follows reports of €700,000 worth of cannabis plants and herb found by Gardaí on Tuesday.
A search was carried out in the Fairymount area at around 5pm yesterday as part of Operation Tara. During the course of the search a large scale growhouse was located with cannabis plants at various stages of growth.
The drugs were seized by Gardaí, and are now subject to analysis by Forensic Science Ireland (FSI).
