A North Sligo parish community is now facing a bill of up to €10,000 following a break-in to their church.
It occurred at Drumcliffe Church, beside which the Nobel winning poet William Butler Yeats is buried.
The thieves stole a security system, which had only recently been installed.
Archdeacon Isaac Hanna tells Ocean FM News tells Ocean FM News the cost to his parish of the break-in and robbery.
