Sligo County Council will get an increase of almost 25% in its local roads grant for 2018.
The total allocation for 2018 will be €10.5m.
In 2017 the total allocation was €8.5m.
Cllr Marie Casserly says the public will soon see an improvement in our roads with this increase in funding.
