Education Minister and Donegal Fine Gael TD Joe McHugh has welcomed €330,000 announced to the county under the Community Enhancement Programme.
It will provide better and up to date facilities for recreation, leisure and sport facilities; with a separate €10,000 in LEADER funding announced to the Erne Enterprise Development Community to upgrade broadband.
€32,522 of the allocated funds has been awarded to groups and associations locally including the Drimarone Development Association, which is to receive €7000 and Dunkineely Community Ltd which will receive a €1,000.
