€40m in capital sports grants are up for grabs.
The dates for when applications can be made were announced this week.
Applications for sports clubs to apply are open online only from 9am on Friday the 7th of September until 5pm on Friday the 19th of October.
Independent Councillor Marie Casserly says for the first time this year schools can apply in conjunction with clubs for the money:
