Almost €47m in funding has been allocated to Sligo, leitrim and Donegal for various greenway and roads projects for 2022.
This includes €50,000 for the Sligo Greenway from Bellaghy to Collooney and €1m for the SLNCR.
The funding comes a total funding from the Department of Transport of €676m.
Sligo Councillor Tom Fox is especially welcoming the €1m allocation for the Lugatober Realignment Scheme.
