Around 9.3 million euro has been paid out so far across Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal under the Vacant Property Grant.
New figures show that as of December, five million euro has been sanctioned in Donegal for bringing vacant properties back into use.
This grant money was divided among 93 homeowners in the County following the completion of refurbishment works.
In Sligo, almost 2.5 million euro has been shared among 48 homeowners in the county while in Leitrim, 38 homeowners have so far shared over 1.8 million euro in grant payments.

Under the grant, you can receive a payment of up to €70,000 to turn a vacant or derelict house or building into your permanent home or a rental property.
