Early indications suggest both Sligo-Leitrim and Donegal will return a ‘No/ No’ vote in both referendums.
The sorting of votes got underway at 9 a.m. this morning for both the Sligo-Leitrim constituency at the Sligo Park Hotel and at the Aura Leisure Centre in Letterkenny.

The ballot papers for the family amendment and the Care amendment were separated into piles before counting gets underway.
The family referendum votes will be counted first but there is no current indication as to when this count is likely to be completed.
