Aintree Grand National winning Sligo-born jockey Derek Fox will be honoured in his home town this Sunday evening.
A civic reception for Derek will take place at 6 o'clock at County Hall, at Riverside in Sligo.
Twenty-four year old Derek, from Emmett Place in Sligo, won the world's most famous steeplechase last weekend on the horse 'One for Arthur.'
Not only did he win, he also overcame serious injury to take part in the race.

The civic reception will be given by Sligo County Council.
Council cathaoirleach Cllr Hubert Keaney has been telling Ocean FM what's planned.
