Efforts underway to resolve power issues in Ballyshannon

Efforts have been made to resolve power issues in Ballyshannon and the surrounding areas.

A number of transformers have been installed and other various improvements to the infrastructure have been carried out.

It follows several instances of outages in the area which was causing a huge inconvenience to residents.

Local Cllr Barry Sweeney says they ESB will also closely monitor the situation going forward in a bid to ensure that these issues don't happen again:
