Emergency services at scene of incident on Sligo train line 

Emergency services are currently at the scene of a tragic incident on the Connolly to Sligo train line.

The train has temporarily stopped in the Ballisodare area.

In a statement on social media, Irish Rail say that the 13.05 service has stopped outside Collooney following a tragic incident on the line. Emergency services are responding.

There are no further details at this stage.
