Emergency services attend scene on N17 near Ballinacarrow

UPDATE:

A car caught fire this morning at 9:20am just off the N17, towards the Sligo side of Ballinacarrow.

It occurred on the L55044 at Cloonacurra, which one unit of Ballymote fire brigade and one unit of Gardaí attending the scene.

It was a single-vehicle incident as an engine caught fire, and the sole occupant escaped without any injuries.

The car was removed at 10:20am.
