Sligo firefighters were called out to a attend the scene of a fire which affected two houses in the Caltragh area of Sligo on Wednesday night.
The source of the fire is believed to have been a gas appliance, which exploded, damaging some of the house windows.
The fire was brought under control and extinguished.
There were no reports of any injuries.

A small fire in a neighbouring house was also brought under control by the emergency services.
