Emergency services praised for swift response to major bus fire

The emergency services have been praised for their swift response to the major bus fire in Letterkenny last night.

An investigation is continuing into the cause of the fire which broke out at the Dry Arch roundabout as the bus was leaving the town for Dublin.

All passengers and the driver got off the bus unscathed.

Donegal County Councillor and Manager of the nearby Clanree Hotel Michael Naughton says staff were shocked to see how quickly the bus went up in flames:
