The death of a woman following a dog attack in Limerick has been condemned by a local election candidate.
The 23-year-old woman died as a result of the attack at a house in Ballyneety shortly after 11.30pm last night.
Just last November, the Department of Rural and Community Development announced a raft of measures to enhance dog control laws across the country.
