EU: 'Specific' solution needed for Ireland on Brexit

The EU's Chief Brexit negotiator says the EU will seek a 'specific' solution for Ireland as the talks progress.

North West Independent MEP Marian Harkin has welcomed the comments made this morning by Michel Barnier during a debate in the European Parliament on Brexit.

Mr Barnier said there can be no going back on last week's EU-UK interim Brexit deal.
