The European Parliament have unanimously accepted the report carried out on the use of defective concrete blocks in Ireland.
A fact-finding mission was carried out in Donegal a number of months ago, which strengthened calls for 100% redress for those affected.
Key recommendations in the report included significant improvements to the redress scheme, and that a public enquiry should be held.
There have also been calls to reduce the amount of red tape those applying for the scheme must go through.
