This is the 2017 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity and it's being marked in this area in Sligo with a special service in St John's Cathedral, in John Street, on Wednesday.
Dean Arfon Williams, of the Church of Ireland, invites everyone to take part in the prayer service, which starts at 8pm.
The Catholic Parish Priest of St Anne's in Sligo, Father Pat Lombard, says there is much that unites the various Christian churches:
