'Exit strategy needed' to stem Gardai leaving the job

An exit strategy is needed to try to stem the unprecedented volume of gardaí leaving the force.

It's one of the motions going before delegates, as the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors' annual conference continues in Galway today.

109 gardaí resigned last year - an increase of 345 per cent on 2016.
