Additional Garda patrols and checkpoints are set to be implemented across County Leitrim in the coming days.
Gardai say it's in light of a recent increase in burglaries and theft related crime in various parts of the County.

As part of Operation Thor, Gardai are to initiate a major countywide operation in the days ahead.
They're also asking communities in Leitrim to report any unusual activity, people or vehicles to their local station.
