Family Carers Ireland has launched its 10th Carer of the Year Awards.
The awards will honour family carers as well as young carers under the age of 18.
Young carers are a steadily growing group, many of whom are providing a level of care beyond their years.
The awards celebrate the enormous contribution and loving care provided by family carers.

Nominations for the awards are now being sought, as Catherine Cox, of Family Carers Ireland tells Ocean FM:
