Farmers from across the North West are expected to take part in a number of rallies on Friday to highlight the importance of farming to the rural economy.
A rally is being provisionally planned for Ballymote in Sligo at 11 a.m. at the same time farmers in Donegal will attend an event in Raphoe. In Leitrim a rally will also take place with Manorhamilton being considered as a possible location for the event.
It will be the first large-scale demonstration by IFA since the pandemic.
Farmers will gather in towns across the country to warn against the dangers in the current CAP proposals and the Climate Action Bill.
