Farmers protest in Ballyhaunis over inadequate beef prices

The Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers have protested against falling beef prices in Ballyhaunis this morning.

The protest was organised to highlight the inadequate price that factories are currently offering for beef.

President of the Irish Cattle and Sheep Farmers Association, Patrick Kent attended this morning's event.

He says that the sector can no longer sustain the current prices.
